Extra Practices
Need some extra practice? There are 2 practices on offer:
Tuesday 9th at 7pm – Andrew & Marion’s place crn Herbert and Kitchener – women may go next door to Ritamay’s if we have a big roll up. (Hall not available)
Thursday 11th at 7.15pm at deMolay (available)
These will be ‘do-it-ourselves’ practices of parts and a chance to be ready to impress Astrid the following Tuesday!!!
Hope to see you at one or both. In the meantime we have some words to learn and great practice tracks under repertoire.
Before Choir Get Together 2/5
If you were thinking of stopping by PARK HOUSE cafe before choir – sorry, it has a closed function on Tuesday night so will not be open for us this week. Bring your own coffee or have a tea/coffee/cake at deMolay instead from 6pm.

The next performance planned is a PopUp performance as part of the First Coat Festival. Saturday May 20th – meeting first on lawn in front of Empire Theatre at 9 am for performances 9.30 – 11.30 am to be followed by a shared lunch in a park.
Spring Sing is nearly here

Meet near main entrance Queens Park (side nearest downtown on Hume St) at 10:30am .
First performance approx 10:45am somewhere inside not far from entrance.
Second performance after Mayoral address approx 11:45am. Maybe a third performance to follow. Hoping for good fine weather!

Details of our February Workshop on Saturday 13th with Carla are:
Venue – De Molay House  Margaret St opposite Queens Park

Welcome to singing in 2016
A new year of singing with Choirbolical will commence on Tuesday 2nd February with a new time of 7pm – 8.30pm.
We welcome our new musical director for 2016 – Carla Trott. Â We look forward to another year of singing together and welcome new members, so do come along and enjoy.

- Fees:Â fees will remain the same, but $10 discount if annual payment made in Term 1.
- Dates for Rehearsals for 2016: 1st, 3rd & 5th Tuesdays, starting Tuesday 2nd February – 6th December, 7-8.30 pm and a ½ day 13th February 8.30 am – 1.30 pm. Note: Carla not available Tuesday 29 March, however we may meet then and rehearse ourselves.

- Social Gathering:Â Chrissy Martin has suggested a pizza function at her place early in the year
Action:Â Chris R to approach Chrissy M about idea of having lunch at her place (pizza) after February workshop with Carla
- Coordinating with Elaine Coates:
One Day One Choir – September 22nd, International Peace Day & joint concert, suggested by Elaine.
Action:Â Pam will invite Elaine to come along to first Voce meeting in2016 and discuss this with us. Â
- Finances:  All expenses for 2015 have been covered and current balance is very healthy
- Repertoire:Â Carla to look at some songs to start us in 2016 and hopefully get parts recorded before rehearsals begin and prepare for performances. Proposed performances are:
