On a sad note we have lost one of our most loyal fans and groupie, Bruce Stewart. Bruce has been to every concert and performance for years and years, from Tasmania to Tenterfield to our most recent concert afternoon. Margaret would like Choirbolical members to know you are welcome to attend his funeral at St David’s Presbyterian Church, Mary St Mt Lofty on Monday June 2nd at 11.30am.

We have a 5th Tuesday rehearsal coming up this week April 29th and another the following week May 6th so find the music (sent via a members email) and come along. Please note everyone is most welcome to come to rehearsals and if you haven’t yet received an email with music for the term please see Lee at rehearsals. For these two rehearsals we will be joined by Judith Noller who is currently researching community choirs, and what better place to be than with Choirbolical where we make beautiful music together.

This Tuesday – April 15th will be our next rehearsal – 6.45pm for a 7pm start. If you are coming along to sing this term don’t forget to have your fees up to date. We have some great music coming up and music and rehearsal tracks will now be distributed through a financial members only mailing list. The Term 2 email went out this week so if you have any initial issues please check with Lee at rehearsals.

The weekend concert with VoiceMale and Ultrasound choirs raised a fantastic $2600 for the Toowoomba Homeless Winter Shelter project. It was great to hear more about it and take part in such an enjoyable afternoon of music. Thankyou to everyone.
VOCE will meet this coming Saturday to continue planning upcoming events, look at music distribution and other organisational matters.
THE NEXT REHEARSAL is coming up on Tuesday 1st April and Judith Noller will be coming along to talk about her community choirs research and have information for us as participants in the coming term.
