Hi all,
For those coming along to the Big Sing on Sunday, here is a recording of the piano accompaniment for Home and the Heartland. Hope it might help some of you to practice at home.
See you Sunday!
Astrid
Big Sing is coming up this Sunday 29th Oct – 8.30am reg. /from 9am two workshops, James Cuskelly and Megan Flint /2.30pm Concert. $20 adult/ $10 concession
We are singing 2 songs – People Get Ready and Home and the Heartland. Both are almost there but not quite so we are having a words and music do it ourselves practice on Tuesday (tomorrow- 24th) so that we are ready for Astrid to weave some magic on Sunday.
Don’t worry if you haven’t been for a while – the Big Sing day will be great.
Performance Attire – black pants/ dress / skirts with some colour E.g. shirt / earrings / scarf etc
Music – of course we perform better without it but we have purchased some black folders if you need to use one.
Car pooling – tomorrow night we will sort out lifts to St Aidan’s School Corinda Bris for folk looking for one.
See you there.
Looking forward to rehearsing tomorrow 17th Oct 2017.
Please check Astrid’s post re downloading repertoire.
Please remember to meet at 6:45pm ready for 7pm at De Molay House.
Warm regards,
Lesley

I am testing who receives this post by email with “Test from Post” in the subject. I will send out another with “Test from email” in the subject and will send from my personal email so we can get to the bottom of this problem. If you could reply to my personal email address which one /or both you have received – thank you.
This problem has nothing to do with the way I am posting – verified by Rebecca and Marion! Simon has done some cleaning behind the scenes so we will see if this has fixed the problem.
This is the post from Tuesday 12 Sep :-
Our next rehearsal 7pm on 19th Sep De Molay House – for a do it ourselves rehearsal as Astrid is away in NZ. Bring a plate and stay for a cuppa.
