As we get to the busy time of year – here are a few dates for you to remember :-

Friday 16th Nov Social in private room at El Attar, please transfer $35 to chorbolical account prior to the date.  Partners welcome need to let Gail Hazell know how many are coming.

Tues 20th Nov Rehearsal

The 22nd Nov VOCE meeting

Tues 4th Dec Last Rehearsal for 2018 (Bring a plate to share)

Fri 7th Dec Christmas carols at Xmas wonderland 7:30 to 8:15pm drinks afterwards @ Pam’s BYO food and drinks

End of Year Social Event

Choirbolical is having dinner out!!

Where: El Attar Middle Eastern Grill – 34A Neil Street, Toowoomba

When: Friday, 16 November @ 6pm

What: Banquet – served buffet style (dessert & drinks not included but can be purchased)

Drinks: BYO

Cost: $35/person to be paid before the night (Cash to Catherine at rehearsals or direct deposit preferred – add appropriate reference – find BSB under Fees tab.

Big Sing

Here are the details of our next performance – The Big Sing

When: Sunday 28th October 2018

Where: St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School – Christine Hartland Centre. 11 Ruthven St, Corinna, Brisbane.

Timetable: 

8.30 Registration

9.00 Workshop 1 – James Cuskelly

10.30 Morning Tea (provided)

11.00 Workshop 2 – Kelly Shepard (guest presenter form USA)

12.30 Lunch provided

1.30 Concert Preparation

2.30 Concert – Massed and community choirs – audience welcome ($5).

Cost: $20 adult, $10 concession/ unwaged – includes music, meals and concert – Cash only at the door

Registration: we need to confirm choirbolical numbers attending by 21st October. Please confirm your attendance by replying with a message to this post so QKC can organise music and food.   (If you forget to/can’t reply – don’t worry QKC are happy if you turn up on the day)  Please indicate vegetarian/ gluten-free requirements if required in your reply.
