Rehearsal

• Tonight 12th Nov – a joint rehearsal with Toowoomba Vocal Ensemble @ Grammar Music room. 7.15pm. There will be someone to show us where to go from the Herries Street entrance.

PERFORMANCE DATES

• Life Line AGM – Thurs Nov 14 – Regents on the Lake – 6.10pm warm up for 6.30pm performance. Choir members welcome to stay on for a supper and charity auction to follow.
• Combined concert with Toowoomba Vocal Ensemble Sunday Nov 17th –  5pm @ Philhomonic Hall   –  7 Matthews Street Toowoomba. Choir members to meet at 4.30pm for a warm up. (Please supply in a disposable container cheese, biscuits or platter type fruit/vegies.)Audience – $15 entry  $10 concession  $35 family    Price includes wine and cheese at interval.   Pre-sale of tickets at rehearsals OR phone Elaine 46396080 OR at the door.

• Tuesday December 3rd @ PARKHOUSE next door to our rehearsal venue. 6.30pm for a meal (ordered from the menu)

As the usual first Tuesday fell in the school holidays, the first rehearsal for Term 3 is on the 2nd Tuesday and deMolay House is not available so we have a space available at the Life Line building – 17 Long Street. Other dates will be confirmed as we lead up to some singing events for the end of the year.

P.s. Tenors – again, to avoid screeching out this part, I sung it at the actual pitch. So it sounds low for a woman, but in actual fact you are singing quite high.

Choirbolical members are invited to join the Queensland Kodaly Choir,
 other choirs and individuals in a choir workshop facilitated by Dr James Cuskelly.

• 10am – 2pm, Saturday 25^th May 2013
• St Mary’s Church Warwick
• followed by a Concert from 2pm – 3pm   Admission by Gold Coin Donation for General Public

This will be the Kodaly Choir’s first Workshop in Warwick which will be held in St Mary’s Church, cnr Wood & Palmerin Streets, Warwick. The day will start with registration 9:30am and the outline for the day is as follows:-

• 9:30am-10am    Registration-if you have your own Name Tag, please wear it
• 10am– 12noon    Workshop
• 12noon-1pm      Lunch – please bring your own cup and a plate of savoury food to share. 
• 1pm-2pm           Concert Preparation
• 2pm-3pm           Concert

COST is $10 waged/ $5 unwaged – to be paid to Catherine for a bulk Choirbolical payment.
