Dear all,
Happy New Year!
I have just uploaded 4 pieces for our first rehearsal on Tuesday evening. Perhaps a few of you could print the odd spare copy for those without website access.
See you next week!

Dear all,

We will be back singing on the fifth Tuesday – 30 Januray 2018.
I will attempt to export the subscribers emails or get someone else with administrator role to do this. Hopefully our tech help can get to the bottom of our problems.
Wishing you all a wonderful festive time with friends and family.
Ho Ho Ho,
Lesley
Dear Choristers,
Apologies – for the lateness of this post I am at Woody Head by the sea.
There is a Voce meeting tonight at Pam’s place tonight 6:30pm. This is a meeting to decide what events we will plan for the coming year.
Anyone can come and be involved. I will be there if u get back in time.
cheers Lesley
Looking forward to brightening the halls of St Vincents hospital tonight. We will be singing from 6 to 7pm.
Pam suggests we wear some tinsel perhaps – or whatever looks festive. I will bring some tinsel for anyone who needs.
Meet at 5:30 Entrance 2 which is opposite Impressions cafe on Scott St. I have a lost parking voucher from the CUA hub if anyone is missing theirs.
Party after at Pam’s BYO everything and we can follow her home.
Ho Ho,
Lesley
Tues 5 Dec:
Invite our families and groupies to the CUA HUB for a 7pm start, we warm up about 6:30pm.
Bring drinks and nibbles with us. Sing through our year’s wonderful repertoire as well as the Christmas songs before drinks and celebrations.
Tues 12 Dec:
Catherine has confirmed this date with the St V’s organiser. Details are still to come but singing is between 6pm and 7pm in selected places in the hospital. So we arrive about 5:30 for a run thru and meet at Entrance 2 on Scott St, opposite Impressions on Scott cafe.
If anyone would like to slip down the hill to Pam Wilson’s place for more chat and drinks afterwards everyone is welcome.
BYO everything.
Thanks Catherine – that’s great. I’m putting the parking permits in the mail now.
This is part of a message from St Vincents re parking and gathering.
At that time there will probably be parks on the street, but the vouchers can be used in our car parks – just fill in the car rego and leave it on the dash.
I recommend parking behind “Impressions on Scott” in the Patient/Visitor car park on Scott St, opposite Entrance 2.
If you would assemble just outside entrance 2 (the foyer is quite small), I or someone will meet you there and escort you around.
We are also looking forward to you performing – reports after last year were very positive, from patients, visitors and staff!
Tomorrow 21st Nov is our last rehearsal before our CUA community hub event on the 5th Dec. Please let Catherine know if you can attend the 12th Dec at St Vincents Hospital for parking vouchers. See earlier posts for more details.
Hope to see your smiling faces there 6:45 for a 7pm start @ De Molay House.
Warm regards,
Lesley

On Tuesday 5 December we’ll gather at the ‘CUA Hub’ in Ruthven Street (near the Walton Stores laneway) meeting at 6:30 to start singing at 7pm. Astrid has chosen a selection of music we’ve learnt this year as well as some Christmas Songs.
The CUA are excited that finally their new piano will be used.
Wear your brightest, cheeriest colours.
Encourage your family and supporters to come to be our appreciative audience (as well as to join in) and bring drinks and nibbles to enjoy after the singing as we round off 2017.
On Tuesday 12 December we have the opportunity to sing to patients and staff in various corners of St Vincent’s Hospital.
Meet at 5:30 for a 6pm start til 7pm This is our last performance for the year and a chance to bring some enjoyment to members of our community.
We’ll sing the same repertoire as the previous Tuesday
If you are able to come, please let Catherine know by our next rehearsal on 21 Nov so the hospital organiser can distribute car park vouchers. We will find out closer to the date where we’ll meet.
Cheers Lesley
For those of you who would like to print the horizontal version of Gaudete that Astrid wants us to use, it is available thru the Choirbolical website under Repertoire (you need to be logged in). It is listed as below: You will need to scroll way down.
