Big Sing is coming up this Sunday 29th Oct –  8.30am reg. /from 9am  two workshops, James Cuskelly and Megan Flint /2.30pm Concert.  $20 adult/ $10 concession

We are singing 2 songs – People Get Ready and Home and the Heartland. Both are almost there but not quite so we are having a words and music do it ourselves practice on Tuesday (tomorrow- 24th) so that we are ready for Astrid to weave some magic on Sunday.

Don’t worry if you haven’t been for a while – the Big Sing day will be great.

Performance Attire – black pants/ dress / skirts with some colour E.g. shirt / earrings / scarf etc

Music – of course we perform better without it but we have purchased some black folders if you need to use one.

Car pooling – tomorrow night we will sort out lifts to St Aidan’s School Corinda Bris for folk looking for one.

1. Sorry everyone but it seems that we won’t have a credible choirbolical performance today with a very depleted male line due to illness and absence. Hope you get this notice with enough time to reorganise your day. Sorry once again.

Feel free to come by for a ‘do-it-ourselves’ practice of our choir music this Sunday (18th and again on 25th ) at the Elvery’s crn Herbert and Mackenzie Streets – a little later than last message – 4pm to 5.30pm. 

Also note that the VOCE minutes from this week are on the website to view. Points to note: extra REHEARSAL on the 27th June will be a  CONCERT for friends and family held  at the Credit Union Community Space down the lane from Walton’s Stores, so start inviting folk to come and hear us before some of us head off to Festival of Voices Hobart.. The Hobart schedule is also attached to the VOCE minutes for your interest.

This Tuesday –  6th June will be our regular first Tuesday rehearsal with Astrid. 6.45 for 7pm start

This Tuesday – 30th May is a 5th Tuesday so we will have  a rehearsal this coming Tuesday night 6.45 for a 7pm start. There will  also be a rehearsal on the following week (1st Tuesday)

A reminder to those planning to attend Festival of Voices that your payment of $99 is now overdue. Please pay into Choirbolical account including your name (BSB details under Fees tab).  Catherine will be making the bulk choir payment to FOV, as requested, no later than 30th May.
